We believe that Jesus:

Paid the penalty for our sin through His death.
We were born in sin, not because we sinned but we pertook from the nature of the fallen man. This automatically made us enemies with God. This nature that we had, one end to it, and that is death. We had to die because of this nature. However, through a display of love, Jesus choose to die on our behalves so we don’t need to pay the wages of sin which is death.

Was resurrected from the dead.
After three days Jesus defeated death by resurrecting just as He said He would. He is alive and the grave is empty. He is present today by the Holy Spirit and working in us. Since He took our life to the grave and paid the demands of a sinful life, we now live His resurrected life. We no longer need to fear death as the end, we have hope because He is risen.

Wants us to respond by faith.
As a means to salvation we have to respond by faith to what Christ did for us. Our response appropriates salvation for us. We have to believe what Jesus did at the Cross as a means for salvation and it is not by works but by grace through faith.

Wants us to manifest His life
The best use of this resurrected life that is in us by the Holy Spirit is to manifest it in the World. We should through a renewed mind act as Jesus would act by surrendering to the guiding of the Holy Spirit. The true indication that we have received what Jesus did on the Cross is to yield to the constant directions of the Holy Spirit of how to live the live of Christ.

Wants us to tell others about Him
The life of Christ comes with a responsibility to share the same. Christ has recruited us as his ambassadors to tell the world about this love that saves. We are to go to all nations and proclaim and gospel. We are also to demonstrate the love of God through signs wonders and miracles.
